Love, love, love the Clam Tavern!!! Their Seafood is always fresh and top quality. I’ve been going here for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal yet. Their Fried Shrimp is stellar - my favorite! Owner really cares about delivering a tremendous dining experience and it shows. Staff is very nice, quick and also caring. Pro tip - order the Crab Imperial as a $7.99 side for a LOT more food. The best!!!! I invite you to follow my reviews - as one of the very top Google reviewers I have 50 Million views to my Reviews/photos. I’m a Musician /Music Producer who travels the Planet.

Omg, the Clam Tavern amazing! The food did all the talking. You'll just have to come and taste the food and experience the atmosphere for yourself. I just don't have the words to describe how wonderful the Clam Tavern is.

Great bartender. The baked clams are amazing. The fish and chips have the thickest and most flavorful fish I’ve ever had ❤️

There was a party of five of us for dinner and our server was Lisa. Service could not have been any better. You can tell she has done this before and knows exactly what she’s doing. The food was impeccable and I am already dying again for the Chesapeake Chicken again. If you have not been here, you have to give it a try, but be sure to make a reservation as it is a small place and the place was packed on a Sunday at 5:30p. Others also enjoyed their meals as well. One had a wedge salad and chicken fingers and the other a seafood pasta dish. They make killer drinks. The lemon drop martini was awesome made with vodka. Limancello, simple syrup. Great job.

This restaurant is simply awesome. Located in the heart of Delco you will find great seafood and steaks. There is a little bar off the right as you walk up where you check in. I always call with a reservation, as it does get busy. I prefer the seating upstairs where you can see the fishtank. This place has a old school atmosphere and is very comfortable. Clams casino to start with stuffed mushroom caps (crab imperial) and crab balls. My family always goes for the stuffed flounder or stuffed shirmp (the crab imperial is delicious) I like getting the Filet Mignon with crab imperial. They have great bake potatoes and frsh vegetable sides and good FF. We always have a great meal and a good time which keeps us coming back!

I come in from Colorado every year just to visit this place with my dad. My visit is not complete with out a trip to the clam tavern. My Family has been coming here as a tradition since before I was born. We kept with the tradition, I am now 36yrs old. Its still my favorite wholesome place with the best seafood in the world. I tell everyone I meet about it. If they end up in Delco at some point they have to try the Clam Tavern. I really cant decide what I love the most here, it's a tie breaker between their seafood stuffed shells, and salmon Oscar. Cant wait to go back soon. Cheers

My 1st time here went to celebrate a birthday with friends and they suggested this place based on thier experience there. I will say it was a great vibe from staff to customers everyone was so nice from the door. Our waitress Jen was so sweet and attentive. The food was great the salmon was cooked perfectly..the fish n chips were great and same for the scampi and chicken parm. Was very affordable and we will return. Definitely a great place.

Lori was the bday girl this month and she decided to pick a place close to home. This was a fabulous choice, our server Colleen helped make the trip even better. I'd like to mention her coworkers just as well for clearing up things after each of us gobbled a plate and needed elbow room for more 😋 The barmaid was kind enough to show her trainee where the bottle of Christian Brothers was hiding (in plain sight)😜 It was a little bit tough finding a parking spot but you're going to realize it was DEFINITELY worth the effort after having your meal 👌 There's something for everyone here, my triple chocolate cake at the end was a treat!! We sat upstairs, if you're elderly I'd suggest taking a light jacket or sweater....I personally loved the cool air myself.

The Clam is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. And, believe me, I get around. The lights are perfectly warm and always at the right dimness, the staff are friendly, and the food is just out of this world! My husband and I usually sit at the bar, but if you want a table, you should probably make a res. Between their pristine fish tank and their decor & neon at the bar, the place is just so wonderfully authentic, the owner clearly takes great pride in its appearance. Get a dirty martini and plan your culinary journey! I am a sucker for their chicken parm and it’s the best in Delco. No lie. Their signature baked clams are a must and they come on an adorable “one-of-a-kind” tray, so cute! Lemon ‘em up, slather your bread with butter, and go to town on this as an app. The shrimp lejon is no sleeper either. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And if you can’t get in, go across the street to Broadway, where the atmosphere isn’t as good, but it’s almost the same kitchen. The Clam is worth the wait!
